General Information
Who are we?
The 1st Blairgowrie Scout Group comprises of the Cub Pack which accepts both boys and girls and the boys-only Scout Troop. The Cub Pack is aimed for children between the ages of 7 and 11 years. At the age of 11 years the Cub joins the Scout Troop which is for boys between the ages of 11 and 18. Biys who have not previously been involved with Cubs are able to join Scouts at 10 ½.
What do we do?
Every Friday during school terms we have meetings at our Scout Hall. These meetings are centred around the development of leadership skills amongst the boys in a fun energetic way. Over and above these meetings our Group is very active in "Disrict events" which range from camping, hiking, pioneering and cooking. 1st Blairgowrie Scouts is currently the Disrict cooking champion and won the highly prestigious Chairmans Challenge 2009 (see Recent events) at a provincial level.

Cubs: Friday Evenings 17h00 - 19h00
Scouts: Friday Nights 19h30 - 21h30
